The Western Australian Community for EFT

Welcome to WACEFT, a community of therapists passionate about Dr Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Therapy!

The Western Australian Community for EFT is a volunteer-run group of therapists passionate about EFT in WA. We are keen to share this powerful model of therapy with the world and to support other therapists in their EFT practice and growth!

WACEFT Mission
Link individuals, couples and families to excellent EFT services, promote the learning and practice of EFT in WA, provide a forum for professionals interested in EFT to connect and grow together.

WACEFT Organisers
WACEFT is organised by EFT therapists Davina Morley, Rosie Rooney, Aaron Ong, Astrid Gerrits, Lisa Bordas, and Jess Bell who volunteer their time and energy in the hope of building a thriving community of EFT therapists in WA.

Our EFT Connections

WACEFT is guided by The International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), Ottawa, Canada.

ICEEFT was founded in 1998 by Dr Sue Johnson and her colleagues. It offers educational courses and training to mental health professionals, provides certification for EFT therapists around the world, and undertakes clinical research studies.

ICEEFT works closely with its various affiliated EFT Centers and Communities throughout the world with the mission of educating health professionals and increasing public awareness about the efficacy of EFT and its role in strengthening relationship bonds.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country and their enduring sovereignty of land, sea, sky, traditional knowledge, kinship systems, and community wisdom. Also, we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of all parts of WA and beyond on whose land we work, live, and love. We bear witness to their diversity and resilience, and honour the Elders past, present, and emerging.
